Guardian vs. Fallen
Chapter 2
Nancy watched the rhythm of the wings; it starting to make her kind of sleepy, she closed her eyes in relaxation but it was short lived as the ground began to shake. Nancy's eyes snapped open and she placed one hand on the wheel to support herself and her other hand to support Kate, the ground shook more violently and the car began to rock, Nancy looked outside Kate's car window and watched as a fiery red hand ripped its way out of the ground and shot it's self upwards, it's arm long and continuing to grow, straight towards the angel. Nancy jumped out of the safety of the car and raced from out the tree surrounded car park into a hill side clearing right in front of where they had parked. She watched the Demon like arm stretch into the sky, chasing the angel, the angel did a hard right, the arm followed, the angel did a hard left, the arm and fiery hand that led the way also did a hard left.  The angel rapidly turned around to face the demonic hand. The angel raised his arm which started to glow blue, then stretch out into two other lightning like, banana shaped rods, it was in the similar shape to a bow and arrow. The Angel pulled back an arrow made or energy and fired it at the hand. No affect, the arrow was absorbed into the fire and it was then too late for the angel to react, the hand gripped him and tossed him to the earth. He landed with a crash and Nancy covered her mouth with her hands.
The arms then snapped in two and created two demonic hands, both just as threatening as the large one before them, they descended on the angel who was now relying on his legs and running  instead of his wings and flying, the angel was running towards Nancy straight up the hill, one of the hands gripped his ankle causing him to fall only meters away from Nancy, the second hand gripped one of his wings and gave a violent tug, feathers shriveled in the heat and the wing itself started to break, another hand appeared out of  two and held the angels back down while the other two now ripped at his wings and scratching at his skin. The Angels cries started to frighten Nancy more than the hideous demon arms tearing out his wings, Nancy picked up the closest rock and hurled it at the demon limb, no affect; a smaller limp appeared out of the ground and shoved Nancy backwards before disappearing back into the ground. Nancy got up quickly, she stared at the angel, and the demonic arms had disappeared in an instant back into the ground, his back was now covered in blood and burns, the wings had been torn from his back and tossed aside. Nancy watched carefully were she was going down the hill and made her way to him, she reached him in a few moments and reached down to touch him  on the shoulder, her touch caused his shoulder to jolt and he pulled away, he looked up at her, tears streamed down his face and another moment passed and he broke into a run, straight down the hill, his balance seemed wonky at best and he stumbled multiple times.
"Wait!" Nancy called out, her voice was unanswered accept for her loud echo that chased the angel in his direction, the angel continued to run, his pants being torn by thorn bushes in the fields below the parking area. A large forest lay before him, it's dark trees looking more frightening then the demon hands which ripped his wings off but this did not stop the angel as he hurried deep into the trees and out of site.
